Hello friends!

It’s Friday already! I can’t believe how fast this week passed.

I’ve been struggling with my runs in the mornings after the evening race last Monday. Even though running in the morning is so convenient (and I’m so happy when I do it), it feels like is the most difficult habit I’ve had to master.

The worst part about this is that I don’t want to settle. I don’t want to run in the afternoons anymore. Now, by 6:00 pm I am tired and hungry for dinner. So this is going to be a tough transition.

Anyways, today I really wanted to share some new Friday Favorites with you guys. Spoiler alert: many of them are makeup related because I got a Sephora Gift Card as a graduation gift. I knew these were going to be part of a post like this really soon!

1. Urban Decay De-Slick Make Up Setting Spray.

This is my first time using an actual setting spray. Back in the day I used to wear hair spray. My Grandmother told me that could be awful for my pores and I stopped doing it.

I picked up this travel size setting spray on the line to pay at Sephora to see what my thoughts are on this. So far I love it. This stuff really won’t let you make up to move throughout the day, which comes really handy when you live in the South Florida summer.

2. Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Liquid Foundation.

I was in need to change my previous Cover Girl foundation. For some reason, drugstore foundations would break out my skin after a while using them.

One of the beauty consultants at Sephora recommended this one for me. Turns out the shade #5 is the perfect one for my skin tone and that’s always a plus. After a couple of weeks using this, I’m in love with it and will share a full review soon.

3. Steve Maden Elouise Snickers.

After an early run, I have to rush and get get myself ready for work. My priorities are to look good but still feel very comfortable. These shoes are so comfy for running days, so easy to put together in almost any outfit, and so cute. I might just get another pair in a different color.

4. Orange Circle Studio Planner.

I am in love with planners. Not only they are extremely cute, but they are also incredibly helpful for me that tend to forget about stuff. Last year I had a planner that I bought around this same time of the year, and it ended in July 2017.

In need of a new planner, I did my proper research on the perfect on for me. This by Orange Circle Studio seems to be the one. Amazon has them at pretty good prices, but I found this at my local Marshalls by coincidence. It was also a few dollars less.

This planner goes from August 2017 to December 2018. It includes spaces for general notes, daily calendar, daily notes, the list of holidays, and stickers. This is my first planner with stickers and I’m obsessed. At this pace I think I would have to repurchase the sticker sheets in a matter of months.

5. Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Bronzer in Medium.

Out the 2 million bronzer out there in the market, I really wanted this one for a long time. My love for this bronzer is really subjective. There are million bronzers out there that have this same pigmentation. But I don’t know, maybe it’s the package or the chocolate smell that makes me love it so much.

I know, I am quite the perfect marketing target.

6. These two songs from when I used to do CrossFit.

I mentioned how I needed to turn off the music during my night trail race last Monday. However, in the few minutes I did listen to it, these two songs from when I used to practice CrossFit started playing and OH MY GOD…I was so pumped.

I am definitely looking forward to listening these two songs next time I go to the track.

Hope you enjoy your weekend!

Is there any Friday Favorites you want to share?

February Playlist.

It’s been a long time since I posted my last music playlist for the month in here. So I wanted to share the one I created for February.

Whoever see this will totally realize that I’m a 90’s Baby, even though not all of these songs are from this decade.

If you could go back to any decade in music, to which one would you go?

Top Running Songs of 2016.

Well, If you know me very well you’ll guess by this time that music is my life.

I listen to music when I’m running and when I’m driving, and that’s a lot of time in my day already. But not only do I listen to music all the time. I also play the same songs again and again until I get kind of sick of listening to them. Sometimes it happens really quick and sometimes it doesn’t.

When I thought on doing this post, I already had a very clear idea on what my top songs from 2016 were. However, Spotify did the job very easy for me this time. My Top Running Songs of 2016 are:

Mountain Sound – Of Monsters and Men.

Hymn for the Weekend – Coldplay.

Take me Out – Franz Ferdinand.

2 Heads –  Coleman Hell.

Interstate Love Song – Stone Temple Pilots.

Among many things I love, music is one of them because is a big element on my daily routine. In average, I spend 10% of my day listening to music while I’m doing any other stuff. For that reason, I set up a playlist every month, with music I’ve discovered or re-discovered. When it comes to music I don’t have any prejudice. I like almost any kind of music, thus having a new playlist every month is not a hard task for me.

This month I’ve decided to share it in the Blog.
