WEEKEND RECAP AND GRADUATION CEREMONY

Hello friends!

It’s been a while since posted something here. Life has been crazy these past few weeks. Full time job + dad coming to visit + graduation ceremony equals a very restricted time for everything else in my life. If you follow me on Instagram you would’ve seen some pictures. But today I wanted to share almost everything about last weekend.

Dad’s arrival meant eating lots of carbs, but that’s something I won’t complain.

I was super happy with my graduation outfit. Even though I’ve never bought any dress online, I decided to take the risk this time around and get my graduation dress from lulu’s. The dress arrived two days before the ceremony and thank God fit me perfectly.

I was beyond happy and thankful to be able to spend my graduation with my loved ones. It was a very emotional ceremony as the student speech was given by a Venezuelan fellow. He could not pass to mention our country and the tough situation is going trough right now. Many of us started sobbing just by hearing “Venezuela.”

After two and a half years studying, me and my roommate graduated with honors from our double masters (YAY!).

Boyfriend was also there. He was so supportive throughout my last school semester that I was extremely happy to share this achievement with him.

After the ceremony we went to eat. This pasta filled with pears and covered in gorgonzola cheese sauce and walnuts just hit the spot.

My beautiful cousin gave me a Sephora gift card as a graduation gift. So I’ll report back with some reviews!!

I’m running a 5K race next week. I really wanted to break my 5K PR on my next race, but honestly I have no idea how that’s going to happen with very little to no time to train/exercise. The good thing is that it’s going to be a nighttime race, and I love the fact that I don’t have to wake up extremely early for that.

When is your next race coming up?

What was your highlight from last week?
