1. I saw your comment on Kristina’s blog about grad school stress and thought “hey, me too!” so I thought I would come check out your blog.

I hope your run went well and your shins were pain free this weekend. I haven’t had full blown shin splints in a very long time, but I have occasionally gotten what I consider warning signs that they are coming and that it is time to replace my shoes. One thing that I have found helpful is using KT tape when they are feeling problematic (this method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xICBWe-UbTo).

No guarantees of course (my graduate program is in Information, not medicine 🙂 )

Thank you Heather! I actually started running again over the weekend but keeping my mileage pretty low. I will certainly take into consideration that KT tape method when I feel like my shins are about to start aching again. My graduate program is in business haha. Once again thank you so much for stopping by!

  2. Thanks for the video shares! I do find videos like that inspirational – funny how the one girl is filming it all at the gym! Maybe I should do that too. haha I know what you mean about taking pictures at the gym… at least someone didn’t walk in and offer to take the picture for you- which happened to me!
Hope your start back to running goes smooth!!

Oh my God I’d be so embarrassed haha. I honesty don’t know how these fitness gurus film their workout routines at the gym.
I started running again over the weekend and it felt good:) Thank you Lisa!
