1. Totally agree – those bad runs do make the good ones great! Sometimes running is just plain frustrating. I found a really great waterbelt that I love. It by Fitletic. (not Fabletic haha!) Mine is the Hydra 12. It fits low on my hips and doesn’t move one bit! A friend recommended it to me. It’s a little pricey IMO, but worth it!

Thank you Lisa! I’m going to look that up. I feel better because now I know I wasn’t wearing it wrong. And yeah, running is like that. You have the bad days and the amazing days.

  2. I don’t wear a hydration belt but I used to have similar problems with my running belt so hopefully this will help. I found that if I wear it across my hips/butt (like at the widest part) rather than waist it will stay in place. Albeit it feels weird at first and your friends may laugh at you.

I know exactly how you felt wearing that fuel belt. First time I wore it, I kept pulling it down to my hips every minute. That run was miserable and I hated it. I actually stopped using the belt for a year. But then one day I thought about it and realized it supposed to sit tight on your waist. When I tried it we were in a happy relationship. It’s takes a minute to get used to it, but the bottles don’t jump around and the belt stays put.

Thanks Alena! I haven’t worn the belt again. But I will try that for my next long run Outdoors 🙂
